Spotify Advertising and FCBNY gave us an impossible task in 2024:

Code an entire music video inside a single Excel file of 10MB which could be safely sent and opened by media planners anywhere in the world.

It was the most challenging project of our studio at the time, requiring the re-invention of the wheel at every turn:

• Audio - Video synchronization

• Building a keyframe-based Timeline tool inside Excel

• Building an Animation tool inside Excel

• Achieving stable 12 Frames-Per-Second of video playback on a 256 x 256 pixel grid

• Creating our custom video codec that turns regular videos in an Excel-friendly format

• Utilize line charts to create animated line drawings

• and many more...
